Project : 3M utilizes webMethods integration suite of products to satisfy their Enterprise Application Integration A2A and Vendor/partner B2B integration needs. BTBI is a webMethods 6.5, wintel platform that comprises of 7 7 Production IS clusters, multiple Brokers and other monitoring products MWS, OFI etc. The project involves a mix of activities, gathering user requirements, creating design specifications ; architect the integration solutions, server administration and on-call support. Currently, along with multiple development projects the efforts are on for evaluating and migrating to wM712 platform.

Responsibilities : Coordinated with offshore development and support teams.

The AFS-PSS project aims to provide the platform support to Cisco's B2B platform. Understood and documented the platform and scope of work from the leaving vendor.

Responsibilities : Planned and coordinated the KA, KT and play back sessions with various SME s.

Avaya acquired Tenovis as part of their growth plan through acquisitions. Tenovis has its sales and services operations spread across Europe. Operations are spread in 8 countries across Europe. Tenovis is using some legacy systems for handling its sales and services operations in these countries. Avaya uses Atlas, an SAP system, for running all of its business operations. The RoE project aims towards 1 common Atlas platform. As part of the RoE Consolidation project these entire legacy systems are to be replaced by Atlas systems. The business requires designing and building a solution to integrate the SAP Atlas systems at Tenovis In-countries locations with Avaya s SAP R/3 system.

Responsibilities : Analyzed the business requirement and preparing the Business requirement documents.

Exodus is a global program to deliver a Dell-on-Dell solution which eliminates use of proprietary/non-standardized technologies. WIPS is a project under GMFS Exodus Dell Global Manufacturing and Fulfillment System. WIPS is an IT system which deals with Orders for manufacturing Dell computer systems on the manufacturing floor. Key functionalities of the WIPS is summarized as : 1 Helps in analyzing the inventory needed to build the systems .2 Tracking the LIVE status of an Order or item s in an Order at the manufacturing floor .3 Providing/Publishing this information to other internal IT systems. WIPS is running on legacy systems using Tandem with NON-STOP SQL Database and Inscribe files. Currently, the effort is to move out of Tandem and build the same using UI MS Net front end and Server Components Java/J2EE SOA. The effort envisages the entire user interface of WTCS Work In Progress Tracking and Control System into. Net screens. A Win Form container based UI is deployed which will replace/emulate the user interface of the existing WTCS system on tandem. A Java based WTCS Services layer SOA is the interface between the Tandem Server classes and the new. Net based User Interface. The communication to the Tandem server classes is done using the 'PHOTON' layer of xml services. The system is designed so as to deliver a phase-wise decommissioning of the existing Tandem system. It follows a layered approach of removing applications and dependencies such that business continuity is maintained.

Project : Tandem Elimination

Tandem, a legacy system is used by Freescale/Motorola to run 8 of their business logistics Applications. As part of their cost reduction policy, Freescale/Motorola Semiconductors wish to move out of the Tandem system by a potentially capable Java/J2EE server side architecture. The Java/J2EE SOA facilitates the communication of the client/server side Tandem COBOL programs, to read/write the data from the DB2 database and other functionality that are there in the current Tandem System.
The entire application business logic resides in COBOL files, thus to facilitate the COBOL-Java communication a conversion tool PerCOBOL was used which converts COBOL files into Java files.

Responsibilities : Designed and Developed the Transaction Manager, using EJB Transactions.
Designed the Class and Sequence diagrams.
Coordinated closely with the COBOL team for the COBOL-Java changes.
Set up the Application Test Environment.
Designed test plan.
System testing, Acceptance testing on Windows 2k before release.

This application provides an end-user the capability to request free samples of selected semiconductor products. The shopping cart for the samples is integrated with the DTD shopping cart. This allows the user to add DTD tools to the shopping cart as well. The application makes extensive use of the Java web services SOAP for making certain Export and abuse control checks. Also, the user can create a Service Request for those products/parts that are currently not sample-able. Notifications are sent to the users during the order processing and fulfillment processes. Moreover, the users can login to the Freescale web site and check the order status.
The actual project duration was 6 months. Included in the middle of the running project to design and develop the Order Administrator change request.

Responsibilities : Designed and Developed Samples Order Administrator functionality.
Developed APIs for abuse control check using web services SOAP.
Developed the Samples Order History module.

The Senior Administrator module allows the Senior Administrator to add/remove new categories and user form for the category and to associate/disassociate the form to a particular category.
